Formby - Victoria Road, Freshfield, Formby, L37 1LJ
Formby is situated on the coastal area of Southwest Lancashire, thirteen miles North of Liverpool and seven miles South of Southport and is a major commuter town for Merseyside. Famed for Formby Point, fourth largest dune system in Britain some 200- hectare (494-acre) and the Squirrel Nature Reserve, this pleasant little town is well worth a visit. The town has many smart bars and resturants and plenty of sea air. Formby is easily accessible by car, coach or train.

The coast line is now under the protection of the National Trust. There are interesting plants and birds to be found, and this is one of the last places in England where visitors may catch a glimpse of the rare red squirrel.

Chester
Chester is the gateway to the undiscovered North Wales Coast with the Island of Anglesey just 50 minutes away and the historic castle of Conwy, the Victorian promenade of Llandudno and to the west, only 30 mins car drive is Liverpool. With its roman walled city, top restaurants and bars Chester makes a pleasant day out.

Southport
Southport is located twenty miles North of Liverpool and is often described as the 'Paris of the North' and the 'Jewel of the North West', Southport is the perfect destination for a mid-week or weekend leisure break, with a wide range of accommodation to suit every taste and pocket.

Blackpool
Blackpool is a little further away than Chester or SouthportBut it's a town full of firsts: taller, faster rollercoasters, bigger clubs, even the biggest mirror ball in the world plus world-class shows, cosmopolitan restaurants, vibrant nightlife, an active sports scene and breathtakingly beautiful scenery on Blackpool's doorstep. Why not visit the zoo, world renowned Tower, the pleasure beach or just stroll along the prom.
